Overview:
We were contracted both electrically and mechanically to assist in two crane overhauls at a port terminal in Gloucester NJ. The work consisted of converting both cranes from diesel powered over to electric as well as a full rebuild of main structural parts and mechanisms.
New power was run to both cranes, fiber cable, main feeders, control work, CCTV systems, festoon cables replaced, operator cabins replaced, platforms fabricated and installed, and new crane support beams fabricated and installed just to name a few. This job was completed over a 9 month period.
