Byers Industrial was contracted for both electrical and mechanical scopes to retrofit and install a new distillation unit at a chemical plant in West Deptford, NJ. This complex project involved tying into existing utilities and process lines, requiring precision coordination and expertise across multiple trades.
On the mechanical side, our team welded and installed a variety of piping materials including stainless steel and carbon steel, along with valves, fittings, and pipe supports. A small heat exchanger was also installed to ensure seamless operation within the existing process infrastructure.
Electrically, Byers completed the installation of conduit, wiring, transmitters, and switches for multiple motors. We also ran both ethernet and fiber cabling, installed two Koch panels along with purge panels, and provided all final terminations to ensure safe and reliable system functionality.
