Byers Electrical Construction is founded.
Byers was founded in 1972 as Byers Electrical Construction. Over the next five years, the company grew to 10 employees and was breaking through from residential wiring to medium-sized commercial projects serving local malls and businesses. We quickly progressed to working in school construction, water/sewer treatment plants, and a variety of other public construction projects.

Partnering up
In 1992, we made our footprint in the state of Delaware working with the Delaware Department of Transportation; a long-term relationship the company still holds today.

Byers Industrial Services offers work throughout the United States and spends 80% of its time outside of its homebase in NJ.
50 Years Strong
Byers celebrated its 50 year anniversary in 2022.
Ryan Morris purchases 100% of Byers Industrial Services
Ryan Morris began working as a tradesman at Byers Industrial Services before rising to Project Management and then CEO and later ultimately acquiring 100% of Byers.
Our HQ receives upgrades
With new additions and remodels at our HQ, we now house 180+ full time supervisors and management at our Franklinville location.
Rob Sebia becomes CEO and leads the charge into the Southeast.
Rob Sebia steps into the CEO position in 2025 and is actively expanding the company by building a new headquarters in Gibsonville, NC to better serve our clients in the Southeast.
