Beverage Manufacturing Facility – Hendersonville, NC

At a beverage manufacturing facility in Hendersonville, North Carolina, Byers delivered the process-electrical buildout for the pre-blend and syrup blending areas, integrating power, controls, and networking to support reliable, clean, and maintainable operations. The package included labor, materials, equipment, and supervision coordinated to align installation with plant activities and quality standards

Scope featured stainless steel basket wire tray (4″, 12″, and 18″ widths, 2″ depth) with voltage-separation dividers and stainless edge-hanger/rod supports; installation of AS-i infrastructure (cables, splitters, device adapters, M12 leads); analog/digital signal cabling from designated control panels; VFD cabling with integrated feedback to motors from multiple MCPs; and local non-fused motor disconnects with auxiliary contacts (non-metallic, NEMA 4X). The team also provided 120-V and 480-V conductors to the listed panels, Ethernet feeds to MCPs/CPs/HMIs, and set the specified panels in place for a cohesive, code-compliant system.

Execution emphasized disciplined cable management and labeling, stainless basket-tray raceways (no conduit), food-grade tie-wrap spacing (every 3′ vertical/6′ horizontal), and prudent allowances for cable lengths to streamline installation and start-up. Up to 60 hours of commissioning support was included to perform I/O checks and assist with bring-up while crews remained on site—delivering a maintainable electrical backbone ready for efficient production.
